Safety is an important issue whenever installing anything in the house, and a planetarium is no exception. We take safety seriously, and safety issues are covered thoroughly in the Installing Your Planetarium DVD. We mention three safety issues here:

• You will be climbing up and down a ladder in a dimly lit room, so it is important to pick up any toys or clothing that might be lying on the floor.
   
• Be sure to always have a flashlight in hand when installing your planetarium.
   
• Even though Star-Brite Planetarium Paint is a water-based paint that doesn't have any toxic fumes like solvent-based paints, we still recommend that you wait an hour for the paint to dry and the room to air out after creating your planetarium.
