List of Items You Will Need

Although we include the essentials, there are a few items you will need to install your planetarium:

  • Ladder - You will need a ladder that is tall enough to come within about two feet of your ceiling. This lets you lean against the ladder while painting stars on the ceiling and walls.

  • Paint Rag - Even though the Star-Brite paint dispenser lets you precisely measure out small drops of paint, you will want to occasionally wipe off the dispenser tip, remove a star from the ceiling, or clean up a spilled drop. A damp rag will do the trick.

  • Drop Cloths - Painting a planetarium is much easier and neater than painting a ceiling. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to put drop cloths on the floor and furniture to guard against the occasional spilled drop of paint.

  • Small Flashlight - A small flashlight makes it easier to see what you are doing.

  • Tape - You will need a little tape to hold your projector in place and mark its location in case you need to move it. We prefer to use duct tape.

  • Black Light - Although not necessary, a black light makes it easier to review your progress as you work. You can purchase these at any Wal mart and many other outlets for about $10.

The Installing Your Planetarium DVD shows you how to use these while putting up the planetarium. See the Installing Your Planetarium page for a short video showing how easy it is to create your planetarium.

We're so confident that you will love your planetarium that we'll refund 100% of the purchase price if you aren't completely thrilled!
